What does the office offer?
- Spinal adjustments and manipulation. Techniques include Diversified, Thompson, Activator and Gonstead. Dr. Jackson also teaches stretches and tips for your posture. Read what research says about spinal manipulation.
- Cold laser therapy. Also known as low-level laser therapy, it uses low levels of light on the area being treated.
- Electrical muscle stimulation. Electrodes go over the affected area, and a current transmitted through them causes tiny muscle contractions.
- Ice pack cryotherapy. A layer of ice is placed on the injured area for 20 minutes, then removed so the area can return to body temperature.
- Myofascial release and Graston Technique. Soft tissue therapy with hands and instruments, including RockBlades/FMT Blades. Dr. Jackson is certified in Graston Technique. It can be uncomfortable at first.
- Therapeutic exercise. You learn the correct technique for each movement and do it in your session and at home. Exercises change as you gain strength and range of motion.
- Weight loss plans. Ask the office what a plan includes.
