Should I see a chiropractor after a car accident?
If you have neck pain, back pain, stiffness or headaches after a crash, a qualified health care professional can evaluate your condition. Chiropractic care may be appropriate for certain injuries after serious conditions have been ruled out. Severe pain, significant trauma, progressive weakness, loss of consciousness or new bowel or bladder dysfunction need urgent medical evaluation first.
What happens at my first visit?
A conversation about the accident and your symptoms, then an exam that may include vital signs, MyoVision range-of-motion screening, motion palpation, reflex testing, and orthopedic, motor and sensory testing. Dr. Jackson reviews the findings with you the same visit, provides therapy and an adjustment when the exam shows it is appropriate, and goes over a care plan before you leave.
What is an attorney lien?
A payment arrangement that may allow eligible patients to receive care under an agreement involving payment from a potential legal recovery. Most auto accident patients here are treated this way. A lien does not guarantee that treatment will be covered or that a claim will result in a settlement, and payment obligations may still apply. The office can explain the process before care begins.
Can I see a chiropractor without an attorney?
